Galette des Rois
The Galette des Rois (Kings’ cake) is a cake eaten in France around January 6th to celebrate the feast of the Epiphany – when the Three Kings turned up to give gifts to Baby Jesus.
We make our galette with housemade butter puff pastry and the traditional frangipane (almond cream) filling. Inside the galette is hidden a small porcelain figurine called a fève. Whoever finds the fève in their piece is crowned king/queen for the day!
Available by the piece in store or whole on order.
Please note: this product will be available until January 31st.
