Job Description
We are looking for a part-time Front of House team member to join our friendly and professional retail team based out of our Riverside Market stall.
- Permanent part-time opportunity, 10+hours per week
- Rostered Mondays and Tuesdays shifts
- Hours between 11:30-16:30
Our ideal candidate will be open to covering weekend shifts occasionally. With our other locations at Holmwood Road and flagship Tannery location also busy, additional shifts may also be available at times for people who are looking for more work on a flexible basis.
Tasks & Responsibilities
Our customers love our products and the service we provide is definitely part of the package. Regular tasks and duties will include:
- Serving customers
- Sharing knowledge of products with customers
- Presenting products in an attractive manner
- Working the till, doing cash up
- Keeping the workplace clean and organised
- Managing stock
It is important that you are confident, professional and comfortable working independently.Â
Qualifications & Experience
We are looking for someone who:
- is friendly, well-presented and polite
- is comfortable to work unsupervised
- has good money handling skills
- has strong verbal communication skills and a team spirit
- ideally has some experience working in hospitality or a food business
- shows strong attention to detail
- thinks on their feet, is organised and keeps a cool head when things get busy
