We recently invested in an electric van to do our deliveries around town.
It was one of Jeremy’s long time wish to replace our old petrol delivery van with a fully electric one. When the opportunity came up to upgrade, he didn’t think twice!
We bought this second hand Nissan e-NV200 from local business EV City. With it, we run daily deliveries to our wholesale customers and carry our goods to the farmers markets on the weekends. We love the extra space it provides and the ease it is to drive. No more stinky fumes and noisy engine!

This new acquisition is part of the business philosophy to lessen our impact on the environment.
Last year we invested in an electric cargo bike. We’ve loved the ease and freedom this bike provides us for running errands around town.
As part of the business’s aim to reduce our carbon footprint, we also encourage our employees to cycle to work. This year again we took part in the Aotearoa Bike Challenge. During the whole month of February we competed with other businesses across the country to get more people on bikes. Even though we didn’t win the first place, we enjoyed participating. Together we rode over 2,500km and 10 out of 11 staff members cycled.
