Stollen
Traditional German Weihnachtsstollen, filled with a booze-soaked mix of fruit and spices, wrapped around a core of housemade marzipan (a staff favourite).
Our Stollen is made using a pre-ferment to develop the flavour, generously slathered in melted butter straight out of the oven, and finished with a dusting of icing sugar.
Delicious with a cup of black tea or coffee.
Storage tips: Our Stollen will keep for several weeks in its packaging. Because we do not use any preservatives, it will naturally become drier over time. This is how it is traditionally eaten in Germany after being left to mature. Once open, transfer your Stollen in an airtight container and eat within a few days. If you want to keep your Stollen for longer, we recommend freezing it.
